Radio 1 Vintage - celebrating 50 Years of Radio 1 ─ BBC Radio 1

Announcing Radio 1 Vintage - a three-day digital radio station celebrating 50 Years of BBC Radio 1.

Starting Saturday 30 September 2017, with a live launch show presented by Tony Blackburn and Nick Grimshaw simulcast on Radio 1, Radio 2 and Radio 1 Vintage. Tony Blackburn will also recreate his first ever Radio 1 Breakfast Show as part of his weekly Sounds of the 60s show on Radio 2.

Followed by 50 one-hour shows built from archive material. Each hour-long show will be a Best Of, featuring iconic DJ names from the last five decades including:
