What would you do to save the life of someone you love? That’s the question the people in this film have to answer. To save their loved ones from terminal liver disease they must be prepared risk their own lives in an operation where surgeons remove half their healthy liver and transplant it into their diseased relative. Filmed over a year, this programme tells the story of three families facing this dilemma-a husband for his wife, a son for his mother and a son for his father - and each with a different outcome.
