THE LION GUARD

Get ready to RRRRoarrrrrrrr! Kion, The Prince of the Pride Lands, is on the prowl and ready for some wild adventures in this bright and bold Disney Jr series, The Lion Guard!

From the much-loved Disney’s ‘The Lion King’ comes the highly anticipated follow-up series which follows Kion, the youngest son of Simba and Nala.

Kion may love exploring his exciting home pride lands with his best friend Bunga, but as the newly appointed leader of The Lion Guard, Kion knows he has a big responsibility to protect the circle of life. Journey through the African Savanna with Kion and the rest of the Lion Guard, Bunga the honey badger, Beshte the hippopotamus, Fuli the cheetah and Ono the egret as they fight off perils posed from a menacing hyena named Janja and his scavenging gang. But Kion has a special trick up his sleeve, when he is in trouble, Kion uses the ‘Roar of The Elders.’ When he roars all the ancient lion kings roar with him instilling fierce power in Kion and ensures help is just a roar away when he needs it most.

KION
LION GUARD DEFEND!! Kion is the leader of the Lion Guard and son of Simba and Nala, but unlike his rebellious father, this strong-willed lion cub likes to stick to the rules. Brave and faithful Kion loves to explore with his best friend Bunga but has a strong sense of danger that stops him from jumping into perilous situations! He takes his position of leader of the Lion Guard very seriously and wants to protect the Circle of Life at all costs.

BUNGA
Bunga is a honey badger, Kion’s best friend and loyal member of the Lion Guard taking up the role of being the Bravest. But having bravery by the bucket load means that Bunga can sometimes jump head first into dangerous situations without really thinking it through. He is also the adoptive nephew of the comedy duo, Timon and Pumbaa

FULI
Fuli is a confident and cheerful cheetah cub and has the role of being the Fastest in the Lion Guard. She loves running and uses her super speedy skills to help her animal friends when they need help.

BESHTE
Beshte is a happy go-lucky-hippopotamus and is the strongest member of the Lion Guard. Beshte has a big, kind heart and is always thinking about his friends.

ONO
Ono is a very clever egret and has the role of Keenest of Sight in the Lion Guard. Ono’s excellent eyesight means he can always spot friends who are in trouble and never hesitates to come to their rescue.


SIMBA
Simba is Kion’s dad and The King of the Pride Lands. He takes his job as protector of the kingdom very seriously. He’s very fatherly and over-protective towards his children but is very proud of them and wants them to grow up to be great leaders like him and his father.

NALA
Nala is the brave and protective mother of Kion and Kiara. She is very supportive of Kion in his new role as protecting the Circle of Life and is confident that her special son will do a great job as part of The Kion Guard
