Making ends meet is a struggle for many families, but when there are more mouths to feed than days in the week, how do you balance the books? Our first family are determined not to take government handouts. Dad works, mum stays at home and does the odd job and they budget fiercely to stay afloat. Next, we meet a family who hold a very different set of beliefs. They are a single parent family, living in council accommodation and survive solely on benefits. Our final large family live in a large and beautiful house and don't really worry too much about what they spend because they are relatively well off. But what do their kids think and would they prefer to have a little less money and a little more time with mum and dad?
