Alex Connerty, a two-year-old from Liverpool, is Britain's only Primordial Dwarf. His mother Sue was rushed into hospital for an emergency caesarean, and although statistics show that a third of Primordial Dwarves don't make it, Alex amazingly survived. But it was only when a geneticist sat down with the parents and explained Alex's condition, did they realise that they had a very special son.
