The Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital sees 16,000 patients over the festive period. Just a week before Christmas, 13-day-old baby Harry undergoes major surgery to remove a giant tumour from the base of his spine. It's a procedure so rare that the hospital only performs it 4 times a year. Meanwhile 5-year-old Teyha’s Christmas is ruined as she ends up in plaster from her armpits to her toes. Her biggest worry is missing her first ever nativity play at school. But her mum has a surprise in store. And Father Christmas tours the hospital’s wards in many guises – including one who literally flies in on a helicopter.
